OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - A police chase Friday afternoon ended in a crash on northbound Interstate 35 at the Shawnee Mission Parkway in Overland Park.
Lenexa and Overland Park police were involved in the chase. It is unknown why they were chasing a driver.
Both left lanes were reopened before 4:30 p.m., Friday and traffic was getting by normally.
Authorities said the suspect was taken to a hospital with chest pains.
