KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Dozens of Kansas City-area ballerinas will glide, leap and pirouette with the dream of becoming the next rising star in the dance world.
It is all part of The School of American Ballet’s 2013 summer course audition.
Only 200 of the more than 200,000 aspiring ballet dancers who audition during the 20-city tour will land a spot in the New York City program.
The School of American Ballet is a premier ballet academy in the United States and trains students to become professional ballet dancers.
