KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Heading to a Kansas City park to celebrate the Fourth of July?
Apparently, you’re not alone.
Forest Decker, the superintendent of the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Department, says the city’s picnic shelters are completely booked through the weekend.
“So we know we are going to have a lot of people picnicking and having birthday parties and Fourth of July parties and you name it," Decker said.
Decker also reminds partygoers to celebrate safely.
