KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A 72-year-old woman lost her home early Monday in a house fire in Kansas City.

The fire, near 73rd and Agnes, started just after 3:30 a.m.

The two-story home was fully-involved when firefighters arrived.

The woman returned home as firefighters were working on the blaze. She said she believed her dog was still in the house.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire.
