KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Kansas City police investigated a report of a threat at the downtown headquarters for tax preparer H&R Block. But have since cleared the scene.
Police spokesman Darin Snapp said someone called in to say there was a threat at the Block building Tuesday morning.
Snapp said about two blocks were cordoned off while police investigate the report. He said no evacuations were immediately ordered, but that police checked the report.
Police were called to the same building Monday on the report of a suspicious package that was later determined to be harmless.
