KC Strip to provide free trolley rides on New Year's Eve

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - If you have too much to drink on New Year’s Eve or find yourself without cab fair, you are in luck.
The KC Strip, the trolley transportation system that operates on the weekends, will offer free rides until 3 a.m., New Year’s Day.
The route runs from the historic jazz district, at 18th and Vine, to Waldo. Stops include Westport, the Country Club Plaza, the Power & Light District and Brookside.
Taxi service will also be available from all KC Strip stops, according to a news release.
