kcICON project closes Linn Street ramp for three months

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - The ramp from Linn Street/16th Avenue to southbound Interstate 29/35 will close Friday.

The ramp will likely be closed until December of this year.

Drivers are encouraged to head north to Armour Road and use the on-ramp there during the construction.

Meanwhile, drivers headed westbound on Armour Road looking to get to southbound I-29/35 will need to take the marked detour via MO Route 1/Vernon Street/Prather Road/Antioch Road.

This closure is part of the kcICON project that is improving a four mile stretch of I-35/29.
