KANSAS CITY, Mo. - If things really do get better with time then a local Kansas City woman is perfection.
Marine Nunn celebrated her 101st birthday Sunday with friends and family at her home.
Nunn’s daughter Vera Brown says that her mother has always enjoyed an active lifestyle.
“She loved to fish. That kept her going a lot until she got to where the fish were pulling her in the water she was so little,” Brown said.
Nunn lives in her own home with a 24-hour caretaker and suffers from some dementia but has good and bad days. Brown said Saturday she was in good form and spirits.
