ARCHIE, Mo. - More than 1,000 Archie, Mo., residents were left dry Monday afternoon following a water main break.
City crews were called out to a main break on Missouri Highway 8 late Monday afternoon. City officials say water service should be restored to residents by Monday night.
Once the water is back on, a boil order will be in place.
The order will last at least through Wednesday night, or 48 hours after water service is restored.
