KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Investigators say a person of interest in an early-morning sexual assault in Kansas City has been arrested.
According to police, the victim said a man wearing a ski mask broke into her home in the 11300 block of Bennington Ave. just before 7:30 a.m.
She told police he sexually assaulted her and then stole her black Ford Escape. Police believe the man tied up the woman during the assault.
She was able to get to a neighbor's house after the assault and call police.
