KANSAS CITY, Missouri - The largest soccer franchise in the world was in Kansas City Saturday night, resting up for their Sunday match up against the Kansas City Wizards.

Denver, Colorado native Monica Carbone is one of the thousands of die-hard soccer fans who will spend the weekend in the metro.

"This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to watch one of my favorite teams.
I get goose bumps every time I think about how surreal this is.  How amazing this is," said Carbone.

Carbone is among the thousands of fans that will head to Arrowhead Stadium Sunday to watch the match up between The Wizards and Manchester United.

Manchester United is the largest sporting franchise in the world, and is expected to draw more than 50-thousand fans.

David Ficklin works with the Wizards, and says this is the biggest game in the team's 15 year history.

"They are one of the biggest football, soccer clubs in the world. And they're the biggest sports brands in the world. For KC to be one of the only U.S cities to host them on this tour, it's a big deal for us," David Fickle.

The game starts at 5:00 p.m.  Tickets are still available.
