KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City police shut down southbound Interstate 35 at 20th Street in the downtown loop Monday during rush hour due to a multi-vehicle crash.
The wreck was reported just after 5 p.m.
At least three vehicles were involved in the crash.
One person was transported to a local hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Emergency crews cleared the scene by 6:10 p.m. and all lanes on southbound I-35 were reopened.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
