Nuns travel across Kansas City to demand a fair budget

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Catholic sisters are traveling across the metro to visit congressional offices and demand a fair budget.

On Tuesday, the Nuns on the Bus tour kicked off in Kansas City.

Between now and September 7, the nuns will make stops in Liberty, Harrisonville, Springfield, Baldwin, Cape Girardeau and Hannibal.

The bus tour is to help serve struggling families affected by proposed budget cuts.
