KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Operation Breakthrough received a financial boost Tuesday morning from an international group that helps families in developing countries around the world.

The Christian Foundation for Children and Aging gave the organization more than $15,000, noting the organization closely resembles some CFCA programs overseas.

“I think it’s important for everyone to step up and support these types of programs all over the world,” said Laney Haake, CFCA Director of U.S. Outreach. “We are doing it as an organization because we believe in what Sister Berta and Operation Breakthrough are doing here.”

Operation Breakthrough helps more than 400 children from low-income families every day.
