KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The daycare at Operation Breakthrough has been given the all-clear after a bomb scare late Thursday afternoon.

An unknown caller said a bomb was in the building at 3039 Troost, according to Kansas City Police. The daycare was evacuated and the 3000 block of Troost was shut down as a precaution.

A bomb dog searched the building and did not find anything suspicious. The all-clear was given around 5 p.m.

According to its website, Operation Breakthrough serves almost 500 children daily.
