Parents of a 4-year-old Kansas City girl are sentenced in child endangerment case

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - The parents of a 4-year-old Kansas City girl, who was found wandering in the street about 12 blocks from home Monday, have been sentenced in Municipal Court.
The girl's father, Daniel Everitt, was found guilty of endangering the welfare of a child, and was sentenced to 180 days in jail.
His wife, Tracza Everitt, was also convicted of endangering the welfare of a child.
She was sentenced to 90 days in jail.
4-year-old Selena and two other children were removed from the home.
