KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Police say a pedestrian was struck by a bus at 11th and Baltimore Friday morning.
It happened just before 7 a.m.
Police tell 41 Action News the 68-year-old female was hit by a KCATA MAX and dragged for half a block under the bus.
The woman was reportedly near the crosswalk as the bus was attempting to make a left hand turn.
Police investigators say the bus driver says he did not see the woman, and she may have been in his blind spot.
Her injuries are life-threatening.
The driver is relieved from duties pending the investigation, which is standard procedure.
