LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. - Dozens of people cut their hair in loving memory of 11-year-old Blair Shanahan Lane. Lane was killed by a stray bullet on July 4, 2011.
Lane got her hair cut at Salon Allure in Lee’s Summit. Sunday, Blair’s mother, along with several other people, cut hair to celebrate Blair’s 13th birthday. The hair will be donated to Locks of Love.
Many people also donated to Blair’s Foster Socks, an effort in Blair’s honor that donates clean, fun socks to children in need.
