Police check body found below KCK overpass

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Police Saturday evening investigated the discovery of the body of a man found beneath the 7th Street Trafficway overpass, near Kansas Avenue.
Authorities were called to the scene about 8:45 p.m. by a member of the public, a police dispatcher said. Arriving officers found the body, and they later determined that it was that of a 53-year-old homeless man who had been living, or at least staying, under the bridge deck. They said it appeared the man died of natural causes.
