Police: 8-year-old girl who didn’t get on school bus found at Kansas City ATA bus stop

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police in Kansas City conducted a brief search for an 8-year-old girl who didn’t get on her school bus Thursday morning.

A police dispatcher tells 41 Action News the unidentified girl was last seen heading toward her bus stop in the 1200 block of Highland.

Moments later, authorities confirmed the girl was found at a nearby Kansas City ATA bus stop.

Police said there was no immediate indication of foul play.
