KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police in Kansas City say a missing man who was the subject of a Silver Alert has been found safe.
Claude Bullington, 93, was located at a Casey’s General Store in Ottawa, Kan., at about 6:30 a.m. Police said he was healthy, but confused.
Bullington was last seen in Martin City on Monday afternoon.
He told relatives he was headed to Harrisonville, but never made it to his destination.
“We’re very upset and very worried,” said Bullington’s granddaughter, Michelle Harding, during a phone interview on 41 Action News Today just moments before he was found. “This is not like my grandfather at all to do this.”
Police say his credit cards were used multiple times since he was last seen, the most recent being very early Tuesday morning in Peculiar, Mo.
“He doesn’t see real well and he doesn’t hear real well,” Harding said. “I can’t even imagine. He’s got to be just scared beyond belief.”
