KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A few famous faces made their way back home to celebrate our city.
Tuesday night, the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 125th anniversary at the Kansas City Convention Center.
American Idol winner David Cook and comedian Rob Riggle were there. Riggle, a Shawnee Mission South graduate, served as the keynote speaker.
He spent most of his night poking fun at Mizzou, the Chiefs and some of our other local sports teams -- all in good fun.
"I love Kansas City -- I do. Kansas City has a rich sports tradition and by rich sports tradition, that is a euphemism for 'don't win anymore'," Riggle said.
Chamber chair Frank Ellis and incoming chair Russel Welsh were also honored
