SHAWNEE, Kan. - The Shawnee Police Department announced they will be providing a new online reporting option.
The new system will allow users to file offenses and incidents including minor theft, suspicious activity and vandalism over the internet.
Once a report is filed, an officer will review it and notify the person who filed the report via email with an attached copy of the report.
The new reporting option will allow officers more time to address community needs while “keeping pace with the public’s expectation to complete services via the internet,” a news release said.
