Plaza Lighting Ceremony: Sporting Kansas City players to flip the switch on Thanksgiving night

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - 41 Action News has gotten a sneak peek into who will be switching on the Plaza Lights this year.
Sporting Kansas City players Matt Besler, Kei Kamara and Jimmy Nielsen will flip the switch at the 83rd annual KCP&L Plaza Lighting Ceremony.
41 Action News is the event's media sponsor. Our own chief meteorologist Gary Lezak will host the ceremony.
The Elders will perform during the event, and play a free hour-long concert right after.
The ceremony will be held on Thanksgiving, Nov. 22, from 6 to 7 p.m. on Nichols and Pennsylvania.
