KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Performers from Stomp gave a sneak-peek show at Harvesters Friday afternoon all in an effort to 'Stomp Out Hunger.'
Stompers used items found at the food bank to add to their performance in the fight against hunger, plus give a sneak peek of their upcoming show this weekend in Kansas City at the Kauffman Center.
The group has parterned with food banks across the country to fight hunger and give back to communities.
'We all come from different walks of life. Some of us know what it's like to not have things," said Stomp performer John Sawicki. "Other people have helped us in the past, and so it's just a natural feeling and process for us to want to give back."
The parternship includes Stomp, Harvesters, the Theater League, Arvest Bank, Mixx 93.3 and the Kansas City Royals.
