Tigers, Wildcats and Jayhawks will get together for one night and drink one down for a good cause

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - Are you a Jayhawk? Tiger? Wildcat? The Newhouse Shelter Showdown will challenge KU, MU and K-State fans to raise the most money for victims of domestic violence throughout 2011.
Join the shelter as they kick off the Shelter Showdown with a happy hour rally at Boulevard Brewery.
There will be Boulevard beer and wine, snacks and plenty of good border rivalry fun all while supporting a great cause.
Cost is $25, which includes drinks and a complimentary Boulevard pint glass.
The event is Tuesday, March 8 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
