KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Time Warner Cable customers in northeast Kansas City experienced an outage on Monday.

41 Action News received a call from a Time Warner customer who said her cable and home phone service was not working Monday.

A customer service representative told 41 Action News that “most of the service area” in Kansas City is down and “technicians are working on it.”

Spokesperson Dave Borchardt now says only customers in one of the city's 28 hubs are without service. He said the outage is confined to northeast Kansas City.

Service was expected to be restored by 5:30 p.m. No specifics on what caused the outage were given.
