KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Emergency crews responded to a train derailment in Kansas City.
It happened at 210 highway and Searcy Creek Parkway around 10:30 a.m., in the rail yard near the former Sam's Town Casino.
At least four cars full of grain are flipped on their side. Authorities say the train derailed because of too much weight. More than 400 tons of grain spilled.
Burlington Northern Santa Fe confirmed it was their train, but they were unsure of its destination.
No injuries have been reported.
