PLATTE COUNTY - Two people were injured Thursday morning in a crash involving a train and a car at 45 Highway at the 45 Spur.
Authorities said the driver tried to dodge the gates on the street before the collision.
The driver and passenger both suffered head injuries, but were conscious and talking to authorities.
That area of the roadway is closed while crews clear the area.
