KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Greater Kansas City YMCA and former Kansas City Chief quarterback Trent Green dedicated a new field and playground Saturday morning.
The Trent Green Family Field and accessible playground is designed to allow kids of all abilities to use the new equipment. The accessible playground includes ramps to each part of structure, swings with harnesses, as well as other features designed for kids with autism.
Green says the new facility will give kids with disabilities opportunities they never had before.
"This is going to give them a chance whether they are in a wheelchair, walker or are limited in their ability to get around," said Green.
The new park is located at 2100 NW 87th Terrace in Kansas City, Mo.
