KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Two blocks of Troost Avenue were closed Thursday afternoon after a car struck a pole and burst into flames.
Police shut down Troost from 42nd to 44th Streets around 2:50 p.m. One person was injured in the wreck, but is expected to live.
It was reopened by 3:30 p.m.
