DAHLONEGA, Georgia - An unusual animal is stretching it legs in a Georgia wildlife preserve.

This zedonk, which is a cross between a zebra and a donkey, was born about one week ago at the Chestatee Wildlife Preserve.

The preserve’s general manager said the baby zedonk has the instincts of its zebra father.

Donkeys and zebras don’t usually mate, but it does happen occasionally.

In about two weeks, the baby zedonk will roam the property with the rest of the animals.
