SAO PAULO STATE, Brazil - A fire tornado in the Brazilian State of Sao Paulo was caught on video Tuesday.
A whirlwind of flame spiraled several yards into the air, fed by brush fires and strong winds.
The scene brought traffic on a nearby highway to a halt before it disappeared.
Weeks of drought have led to brush fires across Brazil.
Authorities in Sao Paulo State have forbidden farmers from burning sugar cane field waste, which is a normal post-harvest activity.
