INDIANAPOLIS - Some people in Indianapolis are taking a leap of faith.
With a scream of the zip line, the Super Bowl 46 hoopla officially kicked off Friday.
The zip line is 80 feet tall and runs 800 feet along.
Felt like a rush in the air, gliding down. Very smooth ride," said Indianapolis Colts linebacker Gary Bracket, who got an early ride Friday. "I wouldn't trade my Cadillac for it, but it was close."
The ride only lasts about 40 seconds, but the young and old were thrilled by the experience.
"Oh it was great, except stepping off. When you step off, there's nothing there," said 77-year-old Ruth Shaw. "I didn't want to step off, so they kind of nudged me. But once you're going, it was great."
Riders must be between 60 and 275 pounds.
It costs $10 a ride.
