KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Mizzou grad is calling it quits at her job, but the way in which she did it has swept the internet.
Marina Shifrin worked at Next Media Animation, a Taiwanese company, and explains in a YouTube video why she’s quitting her job.
“It’s 4 a.m. and I’m at work,” the video said.
The video shows Shifrin dancing around her office to Kanye West’s song “Gone.”
Shifrin explains in the video that her boss “only cares about quantity,” rather than the content of the video she produces.
In the video description, Shifrin writes:
“I believe it’s more important to focus on the quality of the content…Here is a little video I made explaining my feelings.”
The video has been viewed over 1.3 million times since it was posted over the weekend.
“Well, point proven. Thank you to everyone. Sometimes the little ones do win,” Shifrin said in a tweet from her personal account Monday night.
