KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Worlds of Fun is looking for a few freaks to fill more than 500 open positions for ghouls and ghosts at its expanded collection of haunted houses and attractions.
The amusement hosts a Freak Fair Saturday, Aug. 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. to start the process of selecting the season’s ghouls for Halloween Haunt.
Applicants will learn about positions, talk with staff and learn about the make-up and costuming process.
“Freak Fair is your chance to unleash your inner darkness,” states Brent Barr, Director of General Services and Halloween Haunt. “We are excited to host a job fair for the twisted, demented, and just plain absurd characters out there.”
New to Halloween Haunt in 2012 is Zombie High, where if you’re not careful, somebody might just eat you alive at the school’s homecoming celebration.
Other new attractions include the Howl-O-Scream kid zone, a festival of activities in the Europa section of the park, a new pulsating drum show, and haunted Worlds of Fun Village packages.
