Police are investigating more than 1,000 tips from the public in the search for the fired officer suspected of a deadly revenge plot against the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police spokesman Lt. Andrew Neiman says the number of tips has jumped since the city offered a $1 million reward for information leading to the capture of Christopher Dorner.
Dorner is suspected of three murders and three attempted murders.
Neiman told a press conference Tuesday that detectives have obtained new security video from a local store but have not determined if it shows Dorner.
The video posted earlier on TMZ.com shows a man arriving with two small scuba tanks and then leaving with both those tanks and a larger one.
