KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Next time you're traveling through an airport, you might want to consider this: a large number of employees of the Transportation Security Administration may not be doing their jobs.
The Government Accountability Office released a new report on Wednesday and House members are investigating.
The report finds a 26 percent increase in employee misconduct over a three-year period.
Thirty-two percent of cases involved problems with workers showing up for their jobs while 20 percent had to do with screening and security.
The TSA employs 55,000 people.
