Two earthquakes struck off the California coast Friday morning.
The first temblor was reported at 4:36 a.m. CT. It was listed as 6.3 on the Richter scale. The second hit 14 minutes later and registered at 4.7, according to the United States Geological Survey.
For over an hour after the first quake, the USGS website listed two earthquakes, a 6.4 and another 6.1 quake, 17 seconds apart.
But the site has now revised its reports to just the two 14 minutes, and 68 miles, apart. All of the reports had the epicenters listed within 140 miles of Avalon, Calif.
No tsunami warnings were issued. CNN reported no immediate reports of any damage or injuries.
