(NBC) - While the battle over gun control continues, it's not stopping one Virginia restaurant owner from cashing in.
Restaurant-goers in the town of Leesburg can get a discount off their meal at Cajun Experience if they are concealed carry permit holders during the restaurant's new "Open-carry Wednesday."
Owner Bryan Crosswhite said it's less about the discount, and more about the statement.
"It's not about packing heat,” Crosswhite said. “We are sending a message that this is America and this is our constitutional right."
Customers are giving both positive and negative feedback on the discount.
