Congressman Emanuel Cleaver ponders re-election after close call

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - Democratic Congressman Emanuel Cleaver narrowly defeated republican challenger Jacob Turk Tuesday night. It was the smallest margin of victory for Cleaver. Cleaver had 53% of the vote while Turk had 44%.
Cleaver survived while many democrats across the county and here is Missouri did not. Congressman Ike Skelton, a 30-year congressman was defeated by republican challenger Vicky Hartzler. Republicans now control the U.S. House of Representatives.
Congressman Cleaver and Jacob Turk will talk with NBC Action News about the election and the message they believe voters are sending to Capitol Hill.
