KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Senator Claire McCaskill is kicking off her re-election campaign with an RV tour through Missouri.
She will be spending Monday and Tuesday in the Kansas City area.
She opened up her Clay County campaign office on Sunday, and will open two more Monday in Independence and Harrisonville.
The theme of McCaskill's statewide tour is "In our town, on our side."
She will battle one of the three Missouri republicans vying for her seat in the November election.
Voters will decide in August whether it will be Congressman Todd Akin, former state treasurer Sarah Steelman or former Marine John Brunner.
