Presidential debate watch parties in and around Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - There will be a number of watch parties in and around Kansas City for Wednesday night’s presidential debate.

The Missouri GOP is hosting a series of seven watch parties across the state.

Platte County Prosecutor Eric Zahnd will be at the Lee’s Summit Victory Office, 611 SW 3rd Street in Lee’s Summit.

A second Missouri GOP party in the Kansas City area will be held in St. Joseph, at the Buchanan County GOP headquarters, 613 Edmond St.

Elsewhere, Rockhurst University will have a watch party in the Rock Room at Massman Hall at 54th and Troost Avenue in Kansas City, Mo.

Also on the Missouri side of the metro, the Cass County Democratic party is hosting a watch party at Garage Bar and Grill, 4106 Main St., in Belton.

In Kansas, the Johnson County Young Republicans will host a watch party at Johnny’s Tavern at 95th and Antioch in Overland Park.\
