KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Sarah Palin will be coming to the Kansas City area to campaign for Senate candidate Sarah Steelman on Friday.
The Steelman Surge BBQ and Picnic will be held at The Berry Patch at 22509 State Line Road in Cleveland, Mo. Gates open at 5 p.m., and food and entertainment goes from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
According to the Steelman campaign, the two Sarahs will be serving the food as a way to thank their supporters and encourage them to get out and vote.
“This is a way of saying thank you for all the folks who have been supportive of me and also to remind them that this battle isn’t over, we have to buckle down for the finish,” Steelman said.
