WICHITA, Kan. - As many as 29,000 people may be affected after the City of Wichita’s website was hacked over the weekend.
Cyber thieves may have obtained social security numbers, taxpayer ID numbers and banking information of current and former employees who have been reimbursed for travel and other expenses since 1997.
Wichita officials said the security breach has been corrected and they are in the process of notifying those who may be affected.
