MERRIAM, Kan. - A Johnson County daycare operator faces charges after a police investigation into suspicious bruises on a child in the operator’s care concluded, the Johnson County district attorney’s office announced Monday.

Tamara Lynne Benhassine, of Merriam, was charged with aggravated endangerment of a child for an incident which took place between January 10 and January 16, and released on $5000 bond. Her daycare license expired on January 17.
