LENEXA, Kan. - A Lenexa based company announced Thursday a major expansion that's expected to bring nearly 500 jobs to the metro.
TruHome Solutions provides mortgage services to credit unions across the country and is opening a new location that will have space for 412 employees.
The company's president Keith Varney says he's starting an aggressive hiring plan and is not requiring applicants to have any experience.
"We have a lot of young college kids that we are giving an opportunity to to create a career for themselves when they weren't able to find another opportunity," Varney said. "We put a lot into a boot-camp program that helps train people who are looking to make a change."
Varney said he has already started the hiring process and expects the expansion process to be complete in the three to five years.
