OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - A mother and her baby girl are out of the hospital.
Overland Park Regional Medical Center just released two photos of baby McClure.
Nikki McClure was pregnant when she was involved in a crash with a semi truck earlier in February near Gardner.
Baby McClure was born right after the crash.
Nikki McClure is now at a rehabilitation facility out of state.
The following is a statement released Wednesday afternoon on behalf of Overland Park Regional Medical Center:
“We are pleased to announce that Nikki McClure was discharged late yesterday from Overland Park Regional Medical Center, and she will continue healing at a rehabilitation facility out of state. Baby McClure was discharged today. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the community for their support and prayers, which have helped them immensely during these difficult times.”
