OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - As of Wednesday night, there was still no sign of missing Olathe, Kan., college student Aisha Khan.
Wednesday afternoon, family members and volunteers put up flyers in a 15-mile radius around the area where Khan was last seen. The 19-year-old woman disappeared from the University of Kansas Edwards Campus, 12600 Quivira Road, on Friday, Dec. 16.
Investigators said every day that passes hurts the chances that Aisha will be found.
"As time passes, the likelihood you're going to get a positive resolution in the case diminishes,” said former FBI Agent Jeff Lanza. "It doesn't mean it won't happen. But in this case the police and FBI are hoping that something comes up quicker rather than later."
The case is still classified as a missing person but the Overland Park Police Department is treating it as an abduction.
The family is updating the search on the "Help Find Aisha Khan" Facebook page .
