One rescued from head-on collision in Johnson County

JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. - Authorities rescued one person from the wreckage of a head-on collision early Thursday in southern Johnson County.
The accident happened around 6:25 a.m. at 199th and Switzer.
Two ambulances were called to the scene. A police dispatcher said two people sustained "moderate" injuries.
Traffic was blocked on 199th from Switzer to US-69.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
